Vanuatu Nylon Outdoor Flag
Vanuatus flag, which was adopted in 1980, is divided into three sections - a red horizontal stripe (symbolizing the country's unity through blood) over a green horizontal stripe (representing the land and its agriculture), and a yellow Y (standing for the Christianity of the people) situated horizontally on the left and running through the middle of the flag. The Y is outlined in black (representing the Melanesian people) with a black triangle filling in the hoist ended Y. Inside the triangle is an emblem of a boar's tusk encircling two fern leaves.
