Uganda Nylon Outdoor Flag
Ugandas flag, which was adopted in 1962, consists of six equally sized horizontal stripes in the pattern of black (top), then yellow, then red this pattern repeats itself for the next three stripes, culminating with a red stripe at the bottom. Centered in the field of stripes is a white circle which contains the visage of a crane. The flags colors symbolize the African people (black), the sun (yellow), and the brotherhood and fraternity of the Ugandan people (red). The crested crane is a national symbol of Uganda.
