Sri Lanka Nylon Outdoor Flag
SRI LANKA Adopted in 1978, Sri Lankas flag is one of the more unusual. A yellow/orange base serves as the background for two separate symbols. At the left are two equally sized vertical stripes green and orange floating within the base. To the right, and at twice the width of the vertical stripes also floating on the yellow/orange background is a crimson rectangle charged with a golden, sword wielding, left facing lion at the center. Each inner corner of the rectangle is charged with a similarly colored pipul leaf.
