RUSSIA The current Russian flag, which was adopted in 1991, consists of three equally sized horizontal stripes; white at the top, blue at the center, and red at the bottom. While no official meaning has been attributed to Russias flag, many of its citizens ascribe to the symbolization of white standing for generosity and frankness; the blue stands for loyalty, honesty and wisdom; and red means courage, magnanimity and love.
