NEPAL The only national flag that is non-quadrilateral in shape, Nepals flag is a white base with two triangular shaped crimson pennants outlined in a deep blue on the left. One pennant is placed directly over the other. A white sun resting on a reclining crescent moon in centered in the top pennant a large lone white sun is centered in the lower. This unusually shaped and designed flag was adopted in 1962.
