Malawi Nylon Outdoor Flag
Malawis flag, which was adopted in 1964, is a horizontal tribar made up of three equally sized stripes; black (top for the people of Africa), red (middle for the blood shed in struggles for independence), and green (bottom for lush vegetation). Resting center of the top black stripe is the image of a red rising half sun - representing the dawn of freedom and hope on the African continent.
