ECUADOR The flag of Ecuador is a three color horizontal tribar made up of a yellow stripe consuming the upper half of the banner, while two equally sized stripes of blue and red occupy the lower half. At the center of the flag rests the countrys coat of arms. The red in the Ecuador flag represents blood shed in the battles for independence, while the blue stands for the sea and sky, and the yellow symbolizes abundance and fertility.
