Algeria Nylon Outdoor Flag
The flag of Algeria, adopted in 1962, is vertically divided into two equal halves; Green, representing Islam, on the left; and white, indicating purity, on the right. Floating center, and in bright red, is the image of a large red crescent encircling a five point star a familiar Islamic symbol.
